YIN YOGA TEACHER TRAINING 60 HRS
The Art of Letting Go
A 60-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course – A functional approach
The Art of Letting Go is a Yin Yoga immersion/training open to both qualified Yoga and Pilates teachers and practitioners alike, led by Austin Ince with the assistance of Monic.
The practice of Yin can be incredibly therapeutic and for some students it may be the first step upon their teaching journey.
Each day will begin with a twenty-minute meditation, followed by chanting and a two hour plus Yin asana practice. Whilst each daily practice will be different, we will have practiced all the main Yin poses included variations by the end of the course.
If you are a Yoga teacher, this course qualifies as 60 hours of CPD with Yoga Alliance. A certificate will be presented upon completion.

THE TEACHER
Austin has been directing the popular Yin Teacher Training “The Art of Letting Go” since 2017, currently running twice yearly in collaboration with Yogarise London. Prior to curating the course, he studied with some of the most influential Yin teachers around, Paul Grilley and Bernie Clark amongst others. He felt that whilst all their courses had something to offer, there wasn’t one complete course that addressed all the necessary areas of knowledge teachers require. His course, “The Art of Letting Go”, was created to fill this void. It’s a functional anatomy-based training with an emphasis on teaching methodology.
As a practitioner, Austin turned to Yoga to avoid surgery for a painful lower back condition. The outcome was transformational, he no longer required an operation. Impressed with the results of a daily Yoga practice and the life-changing effect it had, Austin turned his back on the music business deciding to become a teacher to share the benefits of Yoga with others. Prior to teaching Yoga Austin moved to London from his native Scotland to work as a musician and had a long successful career in the music business as a recording engineer and music producer. Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, Sting, Hans Zimmer and Michael Nyman are some of the many artists he’s had the pleasure of working with.
His initial 200hour teacher training course was in Ashtanga & Rocket Vinyasa with Larry Shultz of ‘It’s Yoga’ – San Francisco.
He continued with ‘It’s Yoga’ adding their Advanced ‘Rocket’ Vinyasa training with ‘The Yoga People’. Austin also completed the Tapasya Yoga teacher training at Triyoga with Kristin Campbell, before adding a further Anusara based 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training with Suzanne Slocum-Gori, Noah Mace, Nico Luce and Dr Genieve Burley.
He also holds certification in Yin Yoga from Bernie Clark in Vancouver.
Functional Yin anatomy training with Paul Grilley, California.
Further Yin trainings in Anatomy and TCM Meridian theory with Sebastian Pucelle and Murielle Burellier of France and with general Yin with Norman Blair UK and in deep meditation with Nathalie Keiller in Vancouver. He has completed over 1000 hours of certified Yoga teacher trainings. With many more independent trainings in anatomy with Professor Peter O’Sullivan in Cognitive Functional Therapy.
His Yin classes are accessible for all. Through his knowledge of functional anatomy, he helps guide his students towards finding their own unique practice. He keeps instructions clear, interesting, and light-hearted, whilst never losing sight of the serious benefits to his students. He believes that to grow as a teacher it’s important to remain the eternal student.
